SLOUGH BOROUGH COUNCIL TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT (LOCAL PLANNING) (ENGLAND) REGULATIONS 2012 [REG 18]
Slough Local Planning Authority [LPA] is holding a call for sites exercise to ask for information on sites within Slough Borough that could contribute to meeting housing and other needs in the borough over the next 20 years to support the Slough Local Plan.
The consultation will run from 4th April 2025 to 23rd May 2025.
We strongly promote site nominations via the council’s online consultation portal, https://slough.citizenspace.com/planning-policy/call-for-sites-2025
Sites and proposals received from this exercise will inform a Strategic Housing and Employment Land Availability Assessment to help identify (or allocate) sites that are suitable, available, and achievable for housing and other uses, for the new Local Plan. A draft of the Local Plan will be subject to public consultation in the future.
Sites submitted are not automatically marked for development, nor do they gain any special status. They will be assessed taking account of Government policy and guidance, statutory requirements and protections for land, physical constraints (such as flood risk, major utilities), current local planning policy plus other material considerations.
