After a 5 year dispute with the principal local authority, the Wexham Court Parish Council has been able to negotiate the following:
- Increased sale price for part of the land, after rigorous renegotiating.
- Enhanced Recreation Facilities on the remaining recreational ground for the loss of open space to the sum of £124,000.
- The Cherries play area and open space contribution of £25,000
- Education Contribution to the Wexham Secondary School for the sum of £272,078
- Affordable Housing Contribution of £464,734
- Footpath Improvements to links from Norway Drive to Almons Way, Mansel Close and Bell Close for the sum of £25,000.
- Norway Drive Recreational Maintenance fund of £51,000
- Exclusive Local Marketing of the development for 3 months in the Wexham Court Ward and a further 3 months in the wider administrative area of Slough.
