Further Modification Consultation on the Stoke Poges Neighbourhood Plan

Dear Consultee,

The Stoke Poges Neighbourhood Plan was subject to an independent examination and the Examiner issued a report at the end of the examination in March 2025. This report recommended that the Plan met the basic conditions so long as some modifications were made to the Plan before it was put to a referendum.

However, Buckinghamshire Council consider that a further modification is required to one of the policies in order for the Plan to meet the basic conditions. The Council is therefore consulting on this extra modification for a period of 6 weeks as required in paragraph 13 of Schedule 4B to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. The Council’s report on this decision can be viewed here: https://buckinghamshire.moderngov.co.uk/ieDecisionDetails.aspx?ID=1579

The reason we are writing to you is because you have previously commented on the neighbourhood plan, or are a statutory body we need to inform.

Details of the modification and the rationale for it are attached. Further documents including the submission version neighbourhood plan and examiners report, can be found on our website: Neighbourhood plans | Buckinghamshire Council
